Hmmm, well done. The likeness is amazing, I picked hiom before I saw the name. I think the background works well and looks like he did in the movie sahara, hence the colour. I would suggest you do something like this, but a picture of you for your icon.

Great colors, great details and great resemblance I would like to see it with a different background color though. The brown blends a bit to much in with the skin tones.
