far from seeing fireball at the moment I've been more distracted playing planetside, hehe.I'm slowly creeping back into it tho.
Still a little torn on how I wanna go about the whole fighter/mage deal since I can wear armor. for example I can wear plate and just cast long duration spells or cast and forget spells like like armor, maybe shield, identify, friend, knock, resist alignment. ect. The way cooler ones I won't see for quite a while. Then again I can just forget about armor and instead focus on of course shielding spells and instant casts to avoid interuptions during melee fun time

If I am searching the right online material, fireball is a level 3 spell.

Another idea maybe to add a range weapon to your inventory, and use entangle (a level 1 spell if I am not mistaken) as an opener.
Thus even when caught in your own spell, you can switch to a ranged weapon and wear down the enemies.
Hell, it works great on any enemy that melee only, if I remember correctly.

Good idea. Would be nice to have right about now if i can find a that scroll. Playing it on normal and i think i went to the nashkel mines to early. Feels like every thing and every one is out to kill me haha. I found out that being poisoned is extremely bad As well.
