A project for Drawing 2 class that I did over some weekend.

The instructor asked us to draw a portrait of a face -- any face -- using the directions on how to draw a realistic face.

But, seeing as I'd already gone though this method last semester in Drawing 1, this was old news to me.

I decided to draw Glacialus from The Rage Series. He is Elizabeth's mentor, a sorcerer from northern Drackon. Glacial is half elf, only people don't use the term "elf" in all of Drocalius. They are usually only called by their clan names, but even now, the clan names have been somewhat dissolved into surnames.

His clan was called the Eukhan, the "clan of snowy darkness." But when human influence took over how cultures worked in Drackon, the clan name was converted to the surname "Yukon."

Merely, he is Glacialus Yukon. I won't drag on about his personality. I'll write about it later. But try to dig it out of his facial features. I dare you.

I know, it's not that great. But his forehead is supposed to be kinda high. His shirt didn't come out great, either, but I wasn't concentrating on that. Just be glad I did't draw him nekkid. I'm glad, cuz that would totally scar my childhood image of him.

I had to go through and do some touch-ups. This drawing didn't come out as well as I'd wanted it to. I also had a sinus headache at that time. So I can't give an exact amount of time it took me to do this, but I'll guess about four hours, tops. Not up to my good standards.

But what the hell. I just needed to get his face out of my head, seeing as I've never updated it since 2005 or so. He's one of the oldest characters.
