'Clu, please... Don't do this,' Tron begged, clinging to his former friend in a last ditch attempt to stop him. Clu returned the gesture and for a picocycle, Tron believed that he had finally managed to get through to him. But then hard fingers were digging into his disk, twisting and reshaping the code inside.
'No!' Tron cried.
'Shh,' Clu breathed, storking the shuddering security program's back. 'It'll be over soon. It's for the best.'
'No...'
'It's for your own good.'
