Description
This is one of two WIP pictures I'll post for the fusion/steam hybrid ship I'm working on, called the DSS Bering.

This WIP is of the earlier version (dubbed the Mk I in my files folder), in which I had misunderstood the original diagrams and believed the ship to be a single-engine vessel. This was about 2-3 hours into the assembly, as most of the hull is made up of large, rather simple angles.

Some interesting notes: The three gunnery positions, and the deck guns, are completely custom designs. That is to say, they were not made entirely from pre-fab parts (though the deck guns especially would be easy to do that with). For the gunnery positions, I used about a dozen parts from various locations to get the primary block down, then added the smaller parts to flesh out the design.

The deck guns are several simple objects. Cylinders, mostly, with a few more complex shapes for the base and main chamber for the gun. The "feed line" as it looks, is actually borrowed from the wings section, oddly enough...

Anyhow, the specs:
Assembly Program - DoGa L3
Assembly Time - 2-3 hours (at that point)
Polygon Count - ~4,000 raw
