The coloring does resemble a Doberman, and he is a little skinny, so I see where confusion comes in. Here is a link to a bi color german shepherdΒ

Dobermans usually have cropped ears and docked tales. So the ears are very sharp at the ends and have a very different shape. These are naturally erect ears and they are round at the top. Some dobermans are left natural since it is illegal to dock/crop in most European countries. Then those dogs have floppy ears and a long skinny tale, that is sometimes curly.

Yeah, he's darker and on the slimer side. I plan to do more german shepherd sculptures and explore different types. Thanks for the comment : )
