A little Pembroke Welsh Corgi chasing a yellow butterfly
I did this a few weeks back for my boyfriend's church
New visitors go there every Sunday during their worship service and the church's office always post a welcome picture for the visitors.
They usually post random pictures of cute little animals taken from net and put a "Welcome!" text on the side; but sometimes they just put a clip art taken from Microsoft's ready-made clip art collection which saddens me mostly because I prefer cute animals over lousy (no offense) clip art any day.
That's when I decided to volunteer to draw a welcome drawing for them every week.
To be honest, I didn't do this for the sake of the visitors. I just wanted an excuse to force myself to produce a polished work every week. I wanna see how many concepts I can make from the word "Welcome" and cute animals. The thought of drawing cute animals every week made me excited.
So far I've already made three including this one. I'm going to post the other two tomorrow and the day after so as not to spam your inbox.

nothing wrong with doing something so you'll actually not be lazy and do it. It's very cute, I like the textures you used on the little dog so he'd look painted (like traditionally).

SO CUTE, i love his face! The idea of the balloons tied around is torso is pretty creative since they have such short legs (gotta find a way to get around faster right? lol) Excellent coloring!
