Description Mmmm. Cherry blossoms? Spring is very far away. I just wanna thats why.

Anyway, i usually can't sleep well, so last night i whipped up a 10 minute sketch of of one my recent favorite anime character.

Well poised and demure. Excelling in all school activity, she seems the perfect lady. But, don't be fooled cuz she's a bag of self insecurities and a Freudian mess, waiting to explode

Though, she's not sad. She's probably worried of unkempt ribbons or wondering why her hairs a mess...

For that she's fun to watch
Though she's a little off-model, win a free digital hug on anyone who can guess her

That's really pretty! As the previous poster said, it give me a really old school kind of feel. That paired with Marimite just feels right.

Agree on both! Marimite's a great show, I love it but if it wasn't for Sachiko it wouldn't be so great, lol

I love all of your Marimite art, these two are the ones I loved even more...Your quick sketch on the tea pack cover is so wonderful, especially the green background. It really works well.

More is forthcoming, I hope?:eager

I'm ordering them already.

I live in the Philippines and am lucky enough to have Animax at cable TV, where they show the entire Maria watches over us series. The Animax dubbing in English of Marimite is quite a hoot, sometimes really hilarious.

Favorite Animax faux pas.

Thank you for visiting

Yeah i know. But it's fun to have a choice. Whether your more on Sub, Dub or none at all.

I wish they translate into English the Original light Novels that the series is based on. I was able read some of the rough translation of it in the web like in Erica's Blog "Okazu" and i was able to get added info that the Anime didn't tackle yet.

I hope "right stuff" would release an official translated version of the book, and while they're at it release the manga version as well.

Well, here's hoping

In just 10 minutes??!!! Crap man takes me an hour or more just to make some pencil sketchs, damn your good!

Really impressed on how you related so much character to her from such a quick glance, that and the whole piece shows her features, damn speechless here inisipis.

Schools and explosions, never a fun mix, lol.

Great work on this Sakura schoolgirl sir and gotta add fantastic work with the tree and the wind, beautiful stuff man, nuff said!

Often its like a hit and miss when you think about it, but best hast to be the ones where you can't help but draw something totally awesome. Best ones by far.

Oh okay, I don't really know any anime but regardless like the girl here. ^_^

Damn thanks again for the link man, booyah!

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

inisipis In reply to hannsaki [2007-10-26 17:13:03 +0000 UTC]

It depends on how cheap. When i was teaching animation, some of my underprivileged students made their own. One superglued a plastic ruler, ballpen case and some cutup Popsicles sticks. Another even carved out the pegs from used rubber sandals. I gotta tell you they all work well.
I got my animation disc from an old studio i worked with, plus i bought some Chroma colour peg-bar from Canada.

There are some locally made peg-bars that are being sold , i think the price goes to 200-700 pesos. I can sell you some if they're still available (most suppliers sell in bulk, cuz of the material and labor)

Send me note if your interested
