I was inspired to draw this by , who is a much better artist than myself but has yet to upload any of his drawings to this site. This is a tribute to you, since I know you like Bleach and suggested I draw Ichigo. ^-^

This is Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach "hollowfying" or whatever the correct term is. I know this isn't a new idea. Who *hasn't* drawn Bleach fanart similar to this? But I really wanted to try something new. I hope the hand turned out okay. For some reason I am unable to draw decent hands no matter how much I practice. :/ Either way, it was a lot of fun to draw and I didn't come across as many snags along the way as I had anticipated. The blood and marks on his mask are also a much more brilliant, two-toned redish color, but it's scanned, so some details, sadly, are lost. T^T

Also, I drew this using my brand new light box!! It is amazing. With the sketch, I felt like I could make mistakes and draw dark lines, since they wouldn't appear on the final product. Overall, it gives me a lot of freedom to draw what I want without the fear of making mistakes. Hopefully it will allow me to enhance my drawing abilities in the future. I always appreciate comments and critique.
