Description When deciding on Christmas gifts this year I was hit with a crippling bout of "art block." These chunky guys were the result.

Each sculpture is about 1.5 cm tall, 1.5 cm long, and 1.5 cm wide (though there are some variances). The eyes, like most of my other sculpts, are glazed. Attached to each Cubit is a metal (possibly stainless steel, the packaging was in French :\) keychain, making them the perfect companion for your car keys or bag.
Every Cubit was customized based on favorite color and other noticeable traits of the receiver. And yes, you may see something you recognize. (A cookie for anyone who can spot all the sculptures related to a fandom. )

It took forever to sculpt and deliver all of the Cubits , but it was a satisfying project. The reactions I've gotten so far have made all the time and effort worth it.

If I can figure out pricing and fix whatever is wrong with my Paypal account, I might start selling these as custom commissions.

Merry Christmas everyone!

These are amazing, adorable, well done and I HAVE THE BEST ONE EVER = SLIMEY.
The Link one is pretty awesome too, very smooth X3

Thanks. I'm glad you like them. The slimey one was one of my favorites to make. I had never tried something like that with clay before, and I think it turned out pretty well.
The Link one was also a fun challenge. I had to use an old N64 Legend of Zelda game guide for reference. I'm still not completely happy with the hair, but I like the hat.

I'm flattered that you think my work is good enough for the convention. >w< I don't have much in the way of sales experience, but I would love to get a table with a friend. I just with I knew how to make prints and such like the artists at the tables.

lol you got the slimy one? So cute! I have to agree he is pretty epic, but my floppy eared blue puppy is the best!

Really? I'm flattered that you think these are good enough for the convention. Maybe we could go in on a table together or something? I think your work would sell very well at Anime Banzai.

Yes I think these and your other figurines would be wildly popular.

I dunno if my stuff would be that popular as I dont do much anime art anyways X3 But if we did decide to go into a table together, I could come up with something ^^

*blushes forever*

Based on what I saw in the Artist's Alley last year, anime art isn't the key to making good sales. Most of the artists didn't even draw in a remotely anime style. The most popular artists had a unique product, offered commissions, sold buttons, or created fanart. Some of this fanart was from animes (through drawn in different styles), but the rest was from video games, books, TV shows, and the internet. They would love your regular style at the convention. Believe me.

True, but those mix and match magnets were the best lol.
I might even make tails or something. I have been wanting to try making yarn ones for a while now.

Those were great.
Ooo, people at anime conventions love tails! That would be a great thing to sell. And I did see a tutorial on here the other day for creating yarn tails.

Thanks. >w< I'm quite fond of that one myself. The stitching on the hat was fun to do. Admittedly I've never played the Legend of Zelda games myself. Always meant to do it. :\
