This was a challenging piece to ink simply because it was already rendered thoroughly. I did want to give the thunder a more organic feel so I used dry bruch on the cloud areas to give it more texture. I liked the cross hatching on the bottom of the background clouds so I tried to keep it as close as possible to the pencils. All in all a fun and challenging piece Thanks 3PU for letting me ink it!

Awesome work! Love what you did with the dry brush. I also like the smoothness of some of your sweeping strokes. Is it all brush or did you use a crowquill for some of the details? Also what kind of paper did you ink on?

Thanks! I used a Winsor Newton sable size 3 for all of it. I had it printed at Kinkos on Laser 80 cardstock.

Thanks for letting me ink it. It was a fun challenge

Verily, 'tis a most handsome and majestic rendering of the Odinson, good sir. Hail and well-met, indeed.

awsome, i have a silly question have you ever colored anything like these and if so what have you fond harder or more time consuming and why?

The only art I've colored was years ago in high school and then it was with oils and airbrush. Of those pieces I found oils to be more difficult as I have a hard time mixing colors to get different hues and to make them look natural and real. Airbrush on the other hand I took to easily but I never got to practice it as much as I would have liked.
