This...this big creep gave me the WORST scare of my life when he spawned 3 feet away from me in the hall behind me. I went into a complete panic attack when I realized he'd cornered me and I had nowhere to run. The new Ink Bendy is HORRIFYING! His new model and animations are pure nightmare fuel. I've never screamed so much in my life during a game before...My first encounter Β with him was even scarier.
Chapter 3 is FANTASTIC! It does get a bit tedious, but...certain events and information make it well worth it. I'll have to make a journal when I'm not so sleep deprived. I don't classify this as a spoiler, since all you really see is his new model.

Yeah, I don't blame you. My heart was pounding when I was playing through. I had to take several breaks.

The biggest break I took was after 2, right after the chapter ended. I needed to recover from the sudden now-9 foot tall, hunched over Ink Demon hunting you down and the booming footsteps he makes. I was shaking so bad and my eyes were watering after that. 3 was bad for me with the Searchers at first, until I got used to them, but Bendy....no, I don't think I'll ever get used to him chasing me down.

btw, found out later that he pops up less if you don't run. He'll still show up after you destroy his cutouts, but if you've walked the entire time, that's the only time he should pop up.

Bendy's chase sequences are pretty intense, especially when he gets the drop on you.

I was lucky the first time, I saw the ink start dripping down the walls on the floor above and hid before he arrived. The second time, I was so busy dealing with a Searcher and Piper that when the ink appeared, I thought it was because I was hit by an attack and only realized that he nearby when I saw him charging.
That encounter is also how I found out that he is faster.

That sounds similar to another encounter I had, where I was fending off a Searcher and he spawned in the exact same spot in the hall as before. I pretty much said "Screw it, come here and I'll see if I can whack you with the plunger."

It actually is, if you look close enough. The ink textures make him look wetter and even more drippy, his horns curve outwards a little more, similar to a bull's, and he's a bit lankier. I've compared the previous update model and this one and there are differences. His size is definitely one of them.

Only time he got me was on floor K, just in the hallway where you see the elevator, no black stuff or heartbeat, turn the corner and he spawns right behind me. I think Bendy is more of SURPRISE then actually warning you.

I never encountered him on K, even though my friends had a heck of a time with him there. Supposedly, from hearing others', that's his favorite stomping ground. I'm just glad he usually gives you a heads-up with the ink veins.

Others have reported he tends to like floor 11 and P the most, most likely due to them being the smallest it is easy for him to trap/pop up compared to K which is bigger
He isΒ meant to also give you a heart-beat warning but I never hear it, otherwise look at Boris he cowers if Bendy is on your floor

I can usually hear the heartbeat before it's too late, but one time I stupidly stuck around on the stairs when he spawned above me to see if he can actually use stairs... Turns out he can lol. I've heard about Boris cowering, but was never actually able to witness it for myself. Too busy running for my life haha.

I saw him cowering on floor 9 but since Bendy cannot spawn there I went to floor P, soon as I stepped out of the elevator, the veins appeared, NOPE BACK IN I GO. So he was cowering for him above.
If you destroy the cut-outs you notice Boris often gets scared right away so this was a helpful sign, I wonder if he is scared of this Bendy because he knows it is not "his" Bendy?

It seems everyone is scared of Bendy, honestly. I saw someone on Tumblr say that if he chases you and one of the Butcher Gang is there, they actually die from his passing. Alice did say "I won't let him touch me again". So...something is definitely going on with Bendy's touch. The Path of the Demon's end scene also makes me really curious at what's going on there.
