Description aka lets make Temeraire look miserable! This scene just makes you want to hug and squeeze Tem and tell him he is the best companion anyone could have - and then slap Laurance upside the head for not having told him sooner.

So, I'm really getting more in depth with the backgrounds now. Question: does the more textured background seem to work even though the characters have more of a flat texture going on? I think it looks ok but I would like to hear what you have to say...

Whoops! Forgot to add that this scene and characters belong to Naomi Novik and took place in her book "His Majesty's Dragon." This is the scene as she wrote it, although I did paraphrase with the *Note to Self*

don't chance anything! I love your style of simplicity <3 it keeps the viewer focused on the words and making the picture come alive in the mind

Oh, I loved this scene when I read it! Thank you for drawing it, you did a very good job <3 And poor lil Temmy is so anxious, it's adorable...

I think the textured background is nice! However since you're going more in depth with the background you might give detailing the characters a shot Anyway I liek it
