The big guy himself, Temeraire from Naomi Novik's Temeraire series. Temeraire is a Chinese Celestial for those who don't know. The size reference on him is an estimate. I know at one point they mention that Temeraire is the same height as Maximus but half the weight so I went with that for the human comparison.EDIT: Okay, So! I went back to change the eyes and just kept fiddling with it trying to fix the little bits that bothered me
. So his eyes are blue again (read journal for yellow reference), I made his head smaller so he doesn't look so top heavy, and I changed his human reference a bit so he's not quite as big as Maximus anymore.

I thought he had blue eyes for the longest time too, I even drew this originally with blue eyes. Then one day I was reading one of the books (can't remember which) and it said something like "Temeraire stared with his fierce yellow eyes," so I whipped out my sketch and corrected it.
