A letter written by Waverly on New Years:Dear fam,
Hoping you're all having a wonderful down south for the winter. Wish I could leave the shop and join you. MUST find myself an assistant!
Siyyon's not bad this time of year, though. Since I couldn't join you, I decided to participate in the big annual gift exchange. Got a nice young thing named Harmon, and decided to make him a leather half-jerkin and gauntlets. Skyler: studded the gauntlets with those wonderful orca teeth you sent me a few months ago, and it worked beautifully. Bumped into him this afternoon and gave them to him, and fortunately, they fit. I hope he liked the gift. He thanked me very kindly, but he's a shy thing, so it's difficult to tell.
Hopefully going to a lantern lighting in a few days. Should be fun if I can take time off to make it!

I always adore how you do hair. It's so pretty and I want to tangle my fingers in it - but if you do your hair with texture, you certainly succeed in making skin and scales look beautifully smooth and strokeable too.
