The detail of the leaves on the ground, and the basket weaves, the texture of the coat and the realistic quality are really stunning. This is one of the overall best works I've seen in a long time.

Thanks. It is out of a myth. It's a native American story about the Basketwoman. She would net and all the bad little kids that wondered to far from the fire at night. In the original story she didn't have a bird head, but I thought it was a un addition.
