Page five of SCHLOCK TROOPS!, the backup comic I drew for Howard Tayler's Schlock Mercenary. It's an exclusive for the print edition of volume 10, Longshorman of the Apocalypse, written by Jim Zub and colored by Travis Walton.

The last panel of each page is a mock advertisement interrupting the story. As such, each is kind of a non sequitur without the text. For instance, that's the Trendylicious Genegredient-enhanced Szupa Saladupa, still classified as 'food' across a substantial portion of the Known Universe.

Because this is a parody comic, I took the characters a little over-the-top. Nick Nicholson (Gun Expert) always shoots his guns two-handed, usually while throwing himself through the air. Something exploded because OF COURSE something exploded.
