Name: Strider

Originally known as Hydrofasaurus

Class: Mutant

Zone: Zone 1

Lifespan: Unknown, probably can live up to a hundred or thousand years, or even more.

Size: 30-50 meters in height and 50-60 in length.

Population: 45 counted by the Specimens so far, though there might be more.

Diet: Omnivores. They will eat anything from meat and plants to garbage.

Habitat: The city, Botanic kingdom (Name of a park), Forest region, Shallow waters, harbors, Beaches, Open plains, Swamps, anywhere that is open for them to move around in.

Locomotion: Quadrupedal.

Appearance: They are the second largest mutant on the Isle. Their skin is leathery, almost rocky texture.
They can even grow plants on their undersides since they don't move that much, and plant spores/seeds tend to stick to their skin.
They also have air sacs on their necks, numbers ranging from 10 to 12 air sacs. The air sacs help them breathe easily and help with the airflow since they're so large.
The upper side of the Strider's body, I.e the back, spine, and neck, is harder compared to the underside.

Abilities: Enhanced senses like hearing, smell, sight, etc. Strong bite and tear force. Sharp beak-like mouth, similar to a snapping turtle's mouth. Loud and powerful bellowing sound, can also hiss and roar. Durable and strong skin, making them powerful enough to damage tall buildings without getting a single cut. Mid endurance. Semi Underwater breathing. The long tongue is used for grasping and entangling food, plus their tongue is sticky so it's easier to entangle things. Powerful limbs that can crush even the strongest of metals thanks to their size, weight, and strength.

Weaknesses: Tanks, strong bombs, anything that can take down a giant mutant.

Group: A group of Striders is called a herd.

Titan: Only two Striders are recognized as Titan Striders, one in the forest region, and the other in the city.

Skin/coloration: They come in mostly different shades of gray with a few greens and browns, it depends mostly on where they live. For example, if a Strider lives in the forest region, they will appear more greener and browner than the City Strider.

Eyes: The eyes are black, no one knows the color of the iris.

Personality: Mid-aggressive to humans. Neutral, friendly, and loyal to mutants and Specimens.

Fact: Striders sleep most of the time. They can sleep for months, seasons, even years. They only wake up if they feel hungry, need to take care of their young, help the mutants, etc.

Since they sleep alot and don't tend to move, they can be mistaken for hills, small mountains, solid ground, boulders, etc.

A baby Strider is called a Stridette.
