Description
This is an illustration for a collab project with called 'Alverdale Tangle.' This is an illustration from the first Midsummer Masquerade to be mentioned in the project where Imogen, dressed by a moon-fairy is courted by Lord Clarence, who is a sadistic nobleman with lecherous designs on the innocent young Imogen (my OC)- whose heart fortunately belongs to a certain fiddler known as William Ashcliffe ( Sleyf's character).Other art for Imogen:

Oh my goodness you drew Clarence so very frighteningly oh my goodness he really is! Imogen looks suitably disgusted lol, "don't touch me you perve!" *kicks in shins* lol, but seriously, the use of all blues and silvers and whites in this makes it looks so sinister and scary, and I love how the ballroom also has this almost otherworldy colour and everyone else is just silhouettes distanced from the scene, it really helps to add more of a sinister feel to the picture

Lol- yeah, he's one heck of a creepy villain- I gave him long finger nails like Gary Oldman in 'Dracula' lol!
I based her gown on a painting of a famous ballerina in the 18th century- which inspired me partly for her character a while back. I've been meaning to do this piccie for a while and I think it turned out rather well- I changed the background though and went with my original one as I felt it worked better

I agree lol, if he was in a movie he'd be frightening (if we could find someone to play him!) ugh...long nails - get those things away from me (Dracula can get away with it, he's Dracula!)
