This is an illustration of a collaboration & cross-over project that I'm working on withThis is where my character Hetta turns down Sleyf's character Robert Blake's pompous first proposal- rather like Elizabeth Bennet with Mr Darcy!

lol yes! They are- as John puts it 'Dysfunctional soul-mates' but this is a cross-over project, sadly John doesn't exist in 'Alverdale Tangle'

Aw wow I love it, this is such a brilliant illustration of the scene (with Greyvale in the background too!)
I love their poses, Blake is looking suitably annoyed but sort of rigid in shock and disdain that she should even speak to him that way and Hetta's hand gestures express her anger so perfectly. I love her dress, the pinstripe blue is nice, and look...the infamous walkingstick with its bow still attached! *Blake sneer*
Lol and he looks great dressed like that even if he is an ass, it makes me want to drawwwww

Thank you very much sah! As you've probably guessed by now, I'm doing 'cut-outs' for the Alverdale illustration series

I think thats an interesting idea! Sort of like a textured collage (although I haaaate comparing anything to collage, collages are so nasty! They're the torture art teachers give you when they can't think of anything else)
This is "Straw Hat The First", unfortunately it met a premature death...that bow shall forever be remembered! I have no idea how I imagined it! But I think I did mention Eel Marsh, so yes its suitably drab lol, my imagination sometimes doesn't stretch as far as houses...there's just disembodied rooms floating around, presumably in a house-shaped void
