Description This is an illustration for a collab project with called 'Alverdale Tangle.' This is the wedding day of William (Sleyf's character) to Imogen (my character). I really liked working on the background and the floral frame.

Oh so beautiful!  I agree, the meadows and fields do look wonderful to walk through, and I love how you even drew some fallow and added touches of sunsetty orange to them as the sky is turning to evening
The little houses are adorable lol, and the church belltower, I love the little lily of the valley flowers in Imogen's hair and indeed the frame too, and the way you carried them onto the front panel on her dress is so pretty too and adds so beautifully to the theme, they sure do look happy *twirls Imogen around* Wiliam you should consider wearing posh blue more often than worn-out blue it suits you
Are the blue and yellow flowers forget-me-nots, I love those!

Yaysies! I have to admit, I would quite like to live in Alverdale lol! *bats eyelashes at Tristan* For other reasons as well...of course! Ahem! I want to do wedding pics for all our couples- you know how much I love designing wedding dresses! Plus I couldn't resist doing a ballet pose for them as it continues the musical/dance theme of their romance The hair and embroidery took a long time to sort out, but it worked in the end! William's coat is actually dark violet but I think the scanner made it come out wrong...grrr....plus I mucked up William's face- darn it! Apart from that, I enjoyed working on this!

though I could do without the small village gossip myself, it actually sort of reminds me of where my grandma used to live in Lewes, small rural town where everyone knows everyone. It was a nice place until they started turning it into a council estate *sour face* she had so much trouble with this stupid neighbour kid Nathan, until they discovered he had ADHD and got him a dog to focus his attention on - which worked! The guy next door didn't have a tv *gasps of disbelief*, he just used to sit there and play music (he was like a recluse, sort of like Mr. Thompson lol) only he used to throw stones at cats, the jerk. And the people at the back had these overweight dogs and they used to throw the poo over the fence into my grandma's garden so you got a "surprise" when mowing (I just used to scoop it up and throw it back) damned neighbours.
I'm half convinced a lot of characters are based on real people lol!
Lol Tristan lives in Brimbrake!
I have to admit that wedding gowns require a lot of thought on my part...but her hair turned ough beautifully with all the flowers in it and the ballet pose idea is very clever, you clever you.
Oh really? I know how that feels, scanners have a mind of their own and change things depending on the light colour with which they scan. Mine at the moment has a habit of scanning graphite sepia when it feels like it, because the light is slightly yellow.

The background is wonderful in this one. Really makes me want to go and stroll down these pretty fields. And the flowers are so whimsical. Wonderful job!
