Description There you go. My very own Duck-universe OC. I'm not sure about his first name, but so far in my head he's Alistair L. Crevecoeur.

He is a gentleman thief - he's rich, smooth-talking and a charmer of both men and women. He's not good with people on a long-term basis, however. He technically has no reason to steal, but enjoys the thrill of it, the difficulty of stealing prized objects, regardless of monetary value. He's come to St. Canard after trying to steal the lucky dime without any luck and now has his sights on stealing the mask off of good ol' DW.

Here you see him walking out of the police station after "helping" them catch a thief - a lowly thug he doesn't much care for. I haven't drawn the station yet - need to do a bit of research on the look of the station first.

A thorough background story and personality check-up you will have to wait for. What do you think?

Sorry for being SO slow to reply to your drawings.
I love this - I ADORE his design along with his background story, and I REALLY hope to see/read more from him; he seems so very interesting and classy - I love the little moustache, his pose and overall appearance. The raised eye-brow and his hair is just made out of win.
LOVE it!

Why did I suddenly think of Arsene Lupin? XD Maybe it's just me, but the overall personality strikes me so. It's lovely to see characters like that, it really is. And how can you not love that trench-coat. P:

Thank you. Thank you so very much for that. I'm glad to see he comes off as he should, it really means a lot :hugs: I am so looking forward to how he'll shape up. Do you know that feeling when you're not really creating the character, it's coming to life on its own and you're only allowed informations along the way?

XD Well, Lupine *is* the ultimate, original gentleman thief (I personally loved the Night Hood TV-series with him as a kid), so it's very natural for you to think so. But in keeping with the duck-universe, I actually had Don Rosa's character Arpin Lusene in mind, who, admittedly, is a blatant parody of Lupin, but much more hilarious (if you don't know him, well - first, sham on you and secondly - [link] ). This is the main reason he's got a moustache, though I do admit to looking forward to him twirling it XD Also, I admit to looking at Tony Stark (Robert D. Jr. version) for help with the hair.

Glad I did ^__^ Also glad you know who he is. Don Rosa needs far more love than he's getting - and I've never met a sweeter artist.

Could be fun making a more direct reference to Arpin in Alistair's interaction with others - perhaps including the word "thif" XD I btw found The Black Knight Glorps Again here: [link]

He definitely seems psychologically quite interesting - I'll look forward to seeing more of what you come up with for him. I love his design, especially the little details like the snazzy outfit and the grey streak.

I really like his design! The little mustache hairs are just perfect, baha. That, and the streak of grey in his hair really add to the overall personality and give you the impression he's definitely a charismatic guy up to no good

Nice. I saw the trench coat and breifly thought of the 10th Doctor Who. He reminds me a tiny bit of Sigmund Freud (hope I spelled that right)

I apologize for the answering time and thank you for the comment :3

Argh - damn you, woman! Now Alistair speaks with a slight scottish accent in my head. But yeah, I can see what you mean with the Tennant look (still one of the best Doctors, in my book, certainly better than the new one), what with the trench coat and the dark blue suit underneath. I pulled small references from a lot of places, though, just for the heck of it. I wonder, should he have a cane?

Freud? Why Freud? Alistair has no full beard and isn't bald :S

I don't know...somethign about his sharp features just clicked in my head that was Freudian, LOL. I agree, Tennant was much better than Matt Smith.
