Oh! That’s a lovely portrait of a startled Brienne of Tarth at a very moving moment of the story. Beautifully appropriate. Thanks for that and congrats on a well-deserved DD. But your well founded fears were thankfully, unrealized. Cheers.

Brienne of Tarth; The Maid of Tarth, Brienne the Beauty, Brienne the Blue, Lady Brienne; of House Tarth at Evenfall Hall, on the island of Tarth, in the Narrow Sapphire Sea off the coast of the Northern Stormlands. No great beauty, tall and deceptively ungainly with springy straw-colored hair dressing coarse freckled features, yet captivating with appealing blue eyes, she nevertheless became the most honorable and skilled warrior in all of Westeros. Former Kingsguard to Renly Baratheon.
Scathingly derided for her powerful build and manly ambitions in a patriarchal culture, Brienne nevertheless asserts her fragile femininity with a tender heart, sometimes broken, but gilded with a steadfast insistence to loyalty, honor and justice.
First woman Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, bearer of the Valyrian steel sword "Oathkeeper", presented to her by Jaime Lannister. (Sister blade to “Widow's Wail” held by Joffrey Baratheon, Tommen Baratheon, then by Jaime Lannister; both struck from the melt of the ancestral greatsword of House Stark “Ice”, last justly held by Ned Stark, who was executed by it.)
Scarred, hurting but never broken, Ser Brienne of Tarth rises above her tribulations, putting all animosities aside, showing commanding feminine strength in the call to duty.
