Ahhh don't groan...yes, I am totally addicted to Twilight. Aside from the the obvious...Edward...Alice is probably my second favorite character.It was done more or less as an exercise. I haven't painted in awhile and today I just got the itch to do it. I'm a bit rusty but hopefully my muse sticks around for awhile. Thanks for taking a peek. Hope you have a great weekend.

I love Alice! Actually, to be honest, almost all of the Cullens can be called my "favorite" characters (I still have to decide if I like Edward or Jasper more... Edward might win by a little bit...). She looks quite lovely in this picture! The softening of the edges gives her that ethereal feeling that is suitable for an immortal being. Good job with the clothing and the hair as well. I love that you remembered to paint her eyes correctly! The color tones are perfect; they are slightly dreary, yet they make her stand out. It makes the viewer reflect their opinion of Edward's big question (about whether vampires are inherently evil, can there be good vampires, do they have souls). Great job!

Awww thank you so much for your awesome comment. I do have to say that Edward is my definite fav but I have say that Jasper is a close second. I'm actually working on a picture of Rosalie. I know alot of people don't care for her but after reading Eclipse I have come to really respect her character. And I never saw her as an evil vampire out to take Bella and Edward's daughter in Breaking Dawn. Painting Edward has proven to be a bit harder...someday maybe. I do believe that they posses a soul as well.

I can't wait to see Rosalie! I actually like her, but she is not one of my favorites (she certainly can't beat Alice!). I actually gained a lot of respect for her in Breaking Dawn, when she defended Bella and Renesmee [in utero lol] and certainly started liking her in Eclipse. I didn't really have an opinion of her before that.

I finally got to see on DVD from my local library the deleted scenes on the deluxe 2 disc dvd, i still cant find the 3-deluxe DVD on any store but i'm hoping with the release of new moon they will re-stock on twilight.

Thank you so much Kat. I wanted to do Edward but I was having such a hard time painting him for some reason. I couldn't get the color of his hair right so I gave up. Maybe I'll go back to him.
Yeah, Twilight seems hard to find in stores. I can't wait for New Moon...Except I will be seeing it myself because my husband thought that Twilight was boring and stupid. I guess, I will be waiting to get the DVD when it comes out.

it's too bad we don't live closer we could have went together to watch, a few friends of mine are not twilight fans either so i may end up waiting for the new moon dvd to come out, anyway now at days movies come out on dvd quickly..plus if we want to cheat there is always youtube
tell me about it edwards hair is so hard..no matter what art medium you use very difficult hair do to paint or draw
