Done for contest showing something happening during the time between when Naruto left for training and the beginning of shippuden.
Eye witnesses will get ya every time, Jiriaya.
And it's done! I know it's only six pages but I'm still really proud of myself. This is the first comic I've completed and it was definitely a matter of pushing myself. Mostly because I was doing this on top of my other projects, and realized that the deadline for the contest was a lot sooner than I thought. So basically I've only had about a week and a half to work on this, and there were times I was really worried I wasn't going to get it done. But now it is, and no matter what happens with the contest, I'm really happy to have something like this completed. And of course good books on tape help as well.

This was a brilliant little mini comic. It was so cute and funny, not to mention totally in character with excellent writing.
I loved the expression work through it all, but this page stands out particularly for the number and range of expressions fit onto one page. Jiriaya in panel five in particular just made me smile. XD
Great job on this comic, and I hope you are still proud of finishing this one. It's very well done. :3
