My first print from my Printmaking class. I wanted to create a cartoony, easy-design character and came up with Mr. Kiwi...who was...a moderate success. Hard to call all those feathers "easy". xDDDFor those who don't know how this works, I had to carve out the whites in a linoleum block, slap a buncha ink on the remaining surfaces, toss some paper on top, and run it through the press. And tadaa! ...that's the gist, anyway.
Sorry the pic's kinda fuzzy, I've been careless about taking photos lately. xD;

I've planned a cartoon with a kiwi (and a sheep) as well - during my travel-holiday in New Zealand. But I've never drawn anything - and never seen a Kiwi *drop*
