In The Closet

YC is a 'happily' married father, how many children and what his wife is like is totally up to you but one must be a teenager. Uninvolved in adult scenes obviously!

Life in fairly mundane and steady until he agrees to take his eldest to a rock/metal concert he has been wanting to go to.
Besides...he will admit to liking the music himself but not to his teenager...that is just uncool.

MC is the lead singer, openly gay but seriously picky and likes to keep his personal life private. But he also catches YC's eye.

How they meet etc can obviously be discussed but it won't be an easy ride for either...not with YC being married, having an awkward teen and mine being in the public eyes and the press always after scandal.
And there is the problem of MC's seriously pissed off ex.

Thinking YC could have a skill of some sort that would be useful, like web design.

(This could also be interested if YC was a complete homophobe due to being in the closet!)

A Captain's Decision is Final

YC is one of the most famed pirate Captain's of the day. Both feared and revered he knows his exploits will be talked about for years.
But that doesn't mean he had been without problems and one such issue was a rival pirate crew.

Pissed off about having his territory encroached on YC his brooding when his eyes note movement on the beach. MC.
MC is the son of the rival pirate captain and YC decides, rather impulsively, to seize his chance. What better way to get revenge by taking the one thing the other cares about more than gold? Or second to gold maybe.

And keeping his son as a prize is also humiliating.
YC's crew isn't impressed as MC is a brat of the highest degree and certainly not used to doing the duties of a cabin boy.
As tempers mount YC reluctantly has to keep MC close to avoid murder or GBH.

His mission is already dangerous enough, desiring the hidden treasures and wealth of a great sea demon.
Foolishly he has added to his troubles but that isn't going to stop him....even as feeling of disdain turn to lust...and maybe more?

Time Waits for No Man

YC is an apprentice time traveller working in either the current era or the future. He is also in a relationship albeit an unstable one, he isn't sure of his sexuality and although he loves his wife he is not IN love (MC2)

One day he finds a gateway to the past to WW2 war torn France.
There he meets MC , a German soldier on leave.
MC is more of a pacifist and dislikes the situation but has no choice. He will however help YC even though it is a huge risk.

Slowly YC find himself falling for mine and finds himself in a mess as he goes between the two eras, trying to keep up appearances. Foolishly he decides to look up MC in his own time and to his horror finds that he does not survive the war, shot for 'dishonourable' conduct.
The laws of time travel are clear...no meddling...but can he leave it at that and lose the one he knows he loves?
Which era does he decide? Plot can be developed.
