It's so detailed and amazing O.o
I love the effect of the flower petals, and her hair flowing! Great picture!

For some reason I thought of the artist Frida Kahlo when I was looking at this piece.

Please, do not misunderstand me, I did not mean to imply that your work (as a whole) looks like Frida's work. What I meant to convey to you was, that I thought of one of her pieces (which displayed mutilation) when I first saw this particular deviation.
The rest of your work does not reflect in any way to this exceptional artist's work.
And you're welcome.

This is creepy indeed, but yet a great picture. Asides from what Coty told you, I'd suggest to add more shadows to make more contrast and volume. Great artwork!

they way you have done this looks very traditional, especially with the white cross hatching. Nice work eyeball.

I think it is a very interesting piece, as I've told you before it reminds me of Kahlo's work in subject. The self inflicted wounds underlying self rejection, the liberation of the soul through the possible rejection of her femeneity (she's harming her womb), the destruction idea reinforced by the belladonna flowers... but still holding certain paradoxical beauty all together.
Her arm looks a little too long for her body, and that is my only criticism. I like the composition, it is not complex but it is effective, the locks of hair guide your eye around the canvas and bring my eyes over and over to the butterfly, focusing on the beauty of the liberation of the soul and away from the gore of the wounds.
