Description
Rosa-Latin for Rose. Rain continues i want to do IR but cant so i went and bought roses.No editing at all on this except the border.Minolta DiMAGE 7 ... potpourri basket a rose and a desk lamp.
Started put this in expressive but guess i betta not

I don't care for roses in real, but they make one of the most beautifully photographed flowers - esp. with someone as talented as you behind the camera

Yes, a beautiful shot, I think its composition would greatly benefit if you were to lower it, allowing the darkness above the brightest part of the flower to balance the image and to contain the eyes slightly from the arrow the shape of the rose makes subconsiously drawing our attention out of the picture...that's just me though.
What is it about roses anyway? I for one have no love for flowers, not a bit, except for the rose...any rose, dry, dead, chopped, burnt, a pile of its petals, there is something different about the rose; and ironically, it seems to be the most common flower...

I wish I could draw as beautifully as you shoot, but I could never ever manage to perform so many shades of shadows and ever gorgeous colours of pink. What I most adore about your art is the way that you make one colour really stand out in the picture, and leave the others as wonderful as they are nonetheless. This picture is just thriving in front of my eyes, it's attractive and it's seductive and it's everything that a flower needs in order to be special - to be shot by a phenomenon like you.
I love this, I really love this with all my heart.
