very interesting i like the water and the plants on the sides frames the house well just think that maybe a little bit of empty space above the house might have helped.

This looks really good. I think it could use a bit more contrast, though. I love the effect. The trees look so white. It reminds me of a fairytale, but with evil brewing within. It's sort of creepy in a way. I think I would avoid this place.

Nice work! :+faV:

What a brilliant shot, it captures a lot of good moods.

Colour:
No use of any particular colour here, however despite the lack of it, it creates that calming feel and look. One problem I sometimes associate grayscale shots with is that fact that they can lack tonal range, and occasionally fail to pick out fine details, yet in this I see a lot of potential in this area. I think it may have something to do with the uniqe lighting and contrast between dark and light shades.
With this piece, because its monochromatic I always find that they have their own essence that surrounds them; here I feel the same. There is only one thing that puzzles me and that is how the leaves are like snow over the rest of the piece. Do you use any particular filters?

Style/Texture:
As you stated in a previous comment that you use a soft filter, this soft texture really adds blanket depth to the piece, and also add clarity to some particular edges. As I review I usually see deeper into the piece, and I have just noticed the small stream, strange it may seem but yes I only just saw it. This is most likely because it blends in well with the surroundings. The only thing that bothers me is the amount of brightness used through the leaves. This I think over saturates part of the piece. Perhaps a clarify filter would have done the trick and reducing a bit of brightness? But other then that the texture it quite good.

Exposure:
I briefly was asking about hot the leaves of the trees are quite and do you use any filters, now that it has come to mind another possibility was that you played around with the exposure levels? I'm not overly experienced with this kind of photography (if it's photography it's astrophotography for me), but I am just curious of the process involved in taking a shot such as this.

Theme/Concept:
There is no real theme; it's a mysterious shot so I feel many feelings when I view it. Although generally speaking when I do look at it it bring forth that calming sense as well as many other nice and tranquil feelings. You chose an excellent time to take the shot to capture the sensations created through the shot, and I credit you for that. This alike many of you other shots hold a certain distinction from other images with a similar style...

Composition/Overall:
...that tells me that basically with each new photo you improve your technique. This one is one of my favourites from your gallery now. Each area is covered quite well and the overall piece encompasses no real major flaws.
Look forward to seeing your next.
As a final question, what program do you use to perform your post-work? (Photoshop etc)
