Rainbow Lorikeet - (Trichoglossus haematodus)A Lorikeet in Edinburgh Zoos Rainbow Landings - one my favourite places to waste my money XD.
What's better than friendly, colourful, little parrots? Aslong you've got enough nectar these little guys will be your best friends.

I live in the UK so II'v never seen wild parrot - I envy you so much! It must be amazing to see these birds that people buy at great expense to put in cage just flying around for all to see.

Oh it is. They are beautiful birds. They are always in pairs too (so i believe they must mate for life). I always get sad when i see only one flying around

I wish I had a zoo near by to visit all the time. I can't have any bird pets where I live because the people I live with have cats and a husky and they attack birds... I miss having a bird so much. T.T
I always loved giving nectar to the Loris! It's so fun.

I try to go every few months cause it's a great photo opertunity.
That must really suck, I love all my pets and couldn't be without them; we have two cats and a dog but they aren't allowed in my room due to my hamster, mouse, stick insects & newt so my new bird will live in here with me.

Yes I meant lorikeets. I didnt have one as a pet but I always loved feeding them at the zoo or amusment part when I went.

Not too much but it is top of my list of places to vist.
I don't mind, when you go in they're just everywhere, it's a good place for photographs of them and the other creatures in there.
