Description Blue-faced Honeyeater (Entomyzon cyanotis) - Edinburgh Zoo

First time I'v managed to get close enough to these birds for a good picture. The pair of them were just chillin' out and let me kneel down a get a few shots. They're two females in Rainbow Landings along with the Rainbow Lorikeets and it's easy to miss them when you're not paying attention.

I'v only ever seen this pair at Edinburgh Zoo, I just love that vibrant blue face they're rather photogenic.

She was like "Camera make flash, flash confuse Bananabird, I look confused, I'll move now" and she shuffled a little way down the branch.
