The Mandalorian is actually a joint creation with rayn44 . She's the daughter of two Clone Wars veterans who joins the Rebel Alliance following Yavin.
The Chiss belongs to MidoriNoHonoo and she's the adoptive daughter of his OC Quinn Shara.
The pair of them become friends and eventually fall in love through the course of the Galactic Civil War, serving both the Alliance and later Republic before fighting in the Yuuzhan Vong War and leaving the military thereafter wherepon they marry.
