Description From Felt Fox to THE Fox. LOL. He is my 4th felted critter (the third probably won't be posted unless I can salvage his eyes. Poor thing.). I really love The Fox, though! And I remembered that I had tiny keys so he gets to wear a key, even though it looks nothing like HIS key, but that's okay. It's a key, that's the point. x) I made him without using his ref so I will try not to pay attention if I messed up his markings. Close enough.

He's poseable, bouncy, fun to throw around (although I do not throw him around on purpose... lol) I have some pictures of other poses I may upload. He currently resides on my desk standing on his back legs with one forepaw up on the... I dunno what it's called; railing, I suppose. Felted eyes are hard, and then I wanted to make him smile. Making his mouth visible was also hard. LOL. It was fun, though. Technically this is the last piece of art I made in 2013. I was sick and was feeling horrible but was super antsy so I just sat at the kitchen table for a few hours and listened to a documentary on The West while I made him.

This is beautiful, and it must've been really tricky to get those markings in!

I adore his feet for some reason, and his cheeky little expression, really suits his character!

Thank you so much! His markings weren't actually hard to do at all. Mostly just his eyes and mouth were painfully hard. @_@ LOL

Aww, thanks! :3 His little feets.

You're very welcome, and really? I guess some things are like that - the bits that look harder to do are easier, and vice versa.

And yes, they are rather sweet!

Wow, this is so cool! You did an amazing job, and it's nice you could put an actual key on him. How big is he?

Thank you!!
Yeah, I agree. The key is very much a part of him so I was glad I had some tiny ones laying around. :3 Ironically I had gotten them for a sculpture of him that had an unfortunate accident in the oven... LOL

He is 3 inches at the shoulder and about 7 from nose to tail.

You're welcome!
It's lucky that you had one, but it's sad that the sculpture didn't work out.

Ahh, so he's a nice size.

Yeah... I was very sad about that sculpture. Oh well. Maybe one day I'll make another one. LOL

Yeah, he's a pretty decent size. Anything bigger and he wouldn't really have anywhere to sit on my desk. x)

Well, good luck if you try again! I'd be really happy to see one. c:
