Tripod ND8 F22 and a 16 second exposure. I think grain tends to work better with b/w but you don't want to lose the colour here.

I am a noisy girl so I have been told!!!! My original not very clear so I added noise as an edit to give it a different feel. Not sure how much I like it either. I will post another version you might like better later on. Still working on it.

I know every image to every person is different both in how and what they see in it and is a very individual thing.

You have some great photography skills and sometimes seeing the original image is great too

BTW I hope im not coming across as judgemental I would hate to do that

Magpies are fairly large birds, and the Light House is not all that huge. The birds are always there at the end of the day.

love the composition and colours Gayle. Is it noise or is it a particular style - either way I think the shot works a treat!

I just keep adding film grain, which is noise to the picture. I think it is another way of making a photo look some what retro. I think I will post the original for Andy and Steve!!!! Thanks Rozi!!!!!!

I kind of like it. It would be a far different shot if it were crisp and clear, but as it is, it captures the feeling of dusk.

I had it wound up to 800 which was way high, but we got there too late so this was what I got. Saw several people with tripods. One day we will meet! We leave for the US next week. Will be gone for about 6 months. Until when?????
