True. True.
My favorite was the fake "Eternal Darkness 2" teaser. That was the best.
Also, if I'd known that this stupid poster was going to be the most popular thing in my gallery I would have chosen a better picture for it.

That's my second favorite one. My first favorite is the one where it pretends to give you tons of ammo for your guns. I let a friend play it and they gave props for the fake teaser after asking me "Did you buy a demo on accident man?" But they cursed like a mother' when they realized they weren't picking up tons of shotgun shells. It was hilarious.

Don't get too hyped about it.
Silicon Knights has a really spotty record.

cooooool.
...but I still might need one of those consoles since my computer can barely handle emulated N64 games.

Personally I'm holding out for the Steambox. I have absolutely 0% hype for any of the 8th generation consoles.
Actually, about the only people who have heard of Eternal Darkness are really the ones that have commented on this poster.

I actually never finished it on account of the goddamn bathtub scare scarring me.
And this is coming from someone who wasn't the least bit put off by Silent Hill 2. The game has that non-linear, nonsensical quality that I've only managed to get from nightmares. I've recently made it a priority with my gaming to actually finish it.

I watched a playthrough, but the experience was dulled by the commentary. I got none of the experience of the sound design, which upon cracking it open while a friend was over, I've come to appreciate.

Tbh, I had the most fun experiencing all the historical arcs and sanity effects. There are not many good horror games these days, ED was one of the greats.

Something I've been thinking about is what would have happened if it were in a first-person perspective.

Well, I meant for the entire game. I know that would really make character modelling a little redundant, but as I'm going through the levels I sort of want to see what the characters are seeing in first person.
what forum, may I ask?

I think I should finish the first game before giving input for the successor.

Ehh..they've made mistakes to be sure. The people who have played the demo seemed happy though. I just think of all the games I've played EDSR is the one most deserving of a sequel.

The game itself doesnt scare me much [besides the tub O~O] but its constant breaks in the 4th wall when you have low sanity scare the crap outta me DX

This game was awesome for its interface screw.
We need a computer game equivalent that does that with lag and freezing. And blue screens of death.

what is Saint's Row about?
About all I know is that you can hit people with gigantic dildos and make hermaphrodite characters.

I mean, I don't care about the rest of the game. Bob Barbas fight.
That may not have been the hardest boss I ever played, but holy fuck that is the most memorable.
It's like demonic Bill O'Riely.

I wish I could get Eternal Darkness on a PlayStation. As far as I've seen it's only on gamecube and there's barely any decent LPs. It's just the right amount of zombie horror and jump scare to get you, and the plot's just...just generally great, really.

Eternal Darkness, one of the greatest games on a Nintendo console. I just wish it was more widely recognized.

Twas such a game...I can tell how popular it was just from the amount of traffic this one poster draws to my profile.
There is talk of a sequel...I like a better control interface for a new game in the series.

Meh...the horror aspect of it is actually based on psychology rather than scary images. In that manner I guess not everyone will find it scary since certain aspects of it depend on a person's certain aspects and details. It freaked me the fuck out. The bathtub scene, actually...

I noticed that statue and his pedo-glare without anyone having to point him out. I actually thought that was one of the funnier moments of the game.
