Ah, I love his eyes and freckles in this! I'm here commenting from ProjectComment and this portrait definitely caught my eye. I love the soft light that you used and how the neutral colours really emphasize his red hair and green eyes! Your story sounds so interesting and I love that you take so much time and effort to make art for your story. I took a look through your gallery as well and your use of colour and BACKGROUNDS are just everything, omg. I'm not sounding all formal here, I know, but the colours in your art are just so beautiful! You have real talent  
Keep on writing and developing your characters!

Wow, your gallery. Stunning. I really liked to visit your work and want to wish good luck with your OC. What I like about your work (overall) is your use of colours, storytelling, characters and all those flashy effects. Inspires me to try something like that too.

In this picture in particular, I liked the lighting, the painting, the orange highlights. Everything is pretty nice overall. If there's one thing I would like to suggest, is the expression. I'm not sure if this expression is the "come at me bro"; for me it looks more like the Rebel Lea, the defiant. But for a "COME AT ME BLRRR", maybe it needs more rage.

And maybe I'm more here to learn, you know? There's a lot about your pictures and presentation that tells me you're on the right track. Looks like you have a goal, inspiring artists and you're trying to push your work further. I can only recommend you to keep pushing.

Well, keep on this story, would like to see it. Someone who can touches the sky, it's amazing and "The Fire" really shows how it would look like.

Well done, its a very good painting.  You get the expression at all, the lighting, hair and skin textures are great .. eyes are very beautifull and catching.  Only have few details to mention, the neck area I think that need a bit more effort, to better match with the impressive expression of the face.  Lets say, the face and hair are so good that the neck wants to get there too   Care about the clavicles and the shadows under the jaw.  And the other is what I would never do .. LOL .. the sign for my taste is too close to the core of the painting and interferes with the expression.

First of all, I'd like to say you did a wonderful job on this piece. His jaw area is very well rendered and the colors read well and are kind on the eyes. My main criticism is to push the values more. Really try to get the full range from white to black in most of the piece. For example, in the upper creases of the eye, there are only mid tones and highlights which make the eyes seem flat at first.
