I have been working on this for months. Mostly because lately, because of school, I've been terrible at not finishing projects I've started. Even though I like the projects I start? I had the hardest time painting this.This is Oliver, when he was younger his eyes were gouged out and replaced with Opal eyes
Why? That is a very excellent question! Will you see more of him? Probably, He's such a cutie 
He's actually a dear and loves people. I have a thing with white haired boys ;A;
And this kids is why you don't try to paint realistically without a reference! :'D

He looks very handsome and I really like the opal textures in his eyes. They look really blind and lifeless (at first I wondered why, but then I read the description of the gouged out eyes. Poor boy). His hair is amazing, too. It looks so soft and fluffy. I also like his freckles, they are cute.
One thing that looks a bit odd is that his eybrows and lashes are black while his hair is white - that's rather unusual in nature (but if his hair is dyed or if he uses mascara it is fine ^^).
Overall it's a great portrait with nice usage of lighting and shadows.

I really love texture on the face, especially the lips and nose are beautiful. I love the shading around the eyes and on the neck, it is very well defined. They highlights make the waterline in the eye pop out a lot. And the freckles are adorable! He’s a real cutie awh. The eyes are POSITIVELY stunning! The reflections (or is it just the opals??) are very beautiful. The texture of the hair shows up really well. I have a thing for boys with white hair as well!
