Description morse code upon collarbones and
sun-bleached smiles. she
wasn't ready. she wasn't ready.

    he had open arms like
    the song about the london bridge;
    chlorine baptized him a new
    man. innocent, innocent,

what did you see
when you kissed her? the
pearls upon the waves, the
silence upon the shore. was it
quiet enough to hear
the break? thunderous blue, the
chasms of her eyes.
                                   I was
                              there. never
                          present, in the body
                     that doesn't fit, I watched
you murder the sky. I wasn't ready
         I wasn't ready; I swallowed a dream and
                                         vomited blood and somehow
                                                                  I can't clean myself out.
I can't brush the taste of me
                                                                  from my own mouth.
                                                                  I've become the constellations
                                                                  wrapped gently around my
                                                                  legs.
   it comes to this.
   she asks why are
   your hands shaking?
   I say it's a seasonal
   affliction

it is an interesting use of visual and written words. Something I am inspired to try.

each of your writings contain the emotional equivalent of watching all the most beautiful indie/transgressive and classic romantic movies in one go.
it's like eternal sunshine meets a walk to remember and i'm dying here from all the feels, sweetheart, i really am.
but then, i guess there wouldn't be a lovelier way to pass, yes?

the most interesting thing to me about this poem was the "house divided" sketch you've created with your line placement and how that tied in so well with the poem. Maybe thats not what you were going for, but it's what I saw. as far as the content, it was superb as always. Wonderfully done.

It's just amazing how apt this is to how I currently feel.

Amazing ability with words as always.

Oh, Maddie.

You always manage to hit me square in the heart with your anvil-words. And I mean that in the best way possible. I'm not sure anyone's poetry on here so consistently rends emotion from a reader like yours does. You are like a soul-wick, drawing yearning and beauty out of everything you touch.

you don't know how much that means to me. the fact i'm able to convey my experience to anyone else at all is the sole reason i started writing. thank you

And also makes me want to give you a hug

This is absolutely astounding. Your imagery just blows me away with each piece you write.

And I hope you'll be okay. I can tell this comes from a dark place.

I like that. Keep fighting the good fight.

Wow. That was...I'm not sure what that was, but there are a lot of levels to this. The disjunct images work to create a sensation of both confusion and longing.
