What an awesome landscape shot! The variety of landscaping in this is awesome, contrasted with a beautiful blue sky.

Yes it does... I love the colors... and in this one...the variety of tones: Green, yellow, dark green, sky blue, white, a little bit of brown burned....
Talking about the "ground" part... it seems to be like the "ordened part" and "disordened part"... the part with the stripes is the one that has an order, and is plain with bright green, the mountains have no order because the colors are a mess and it has volume....

The frame tho.. its a bit over whelming. Check out my latest frames... I have been copying some others and can give you a tip if you like them. The ones with the pinstrip and black,.

Thanks for the advice, and yes, I played around with the frames, because something bothered me about this picture and I was thinking it was the picture itself, but it was the frame. I have changed it a little, and I think this adds to the shot- rather than competing with it. I also looked at your gallery- Really nice frames, I like how you did the red strip around the dog. Well done.

Thats better... if you make a new canvas ( Photoshop I hope) 5 pixels larger than your basic photo on each side then sample the colour of the grass ( Yellow ) with the dopper and colour your new canvas. Then cop and past your photo on top and you should have a yellow 5 pixel pinstripe. THEN you have to go layers and merge visible layers to join the two as one. Now you can make your black frame as usual.
I have to learn to do titles next.
