Ok, so i got it inked. Im still not satisfied with the finished product. (Im blaming my scanner for this one) I used a relatively light shade to help out the colors a little, but try as i might to contrast, brighten, etc. the shield just stays that dark... and the pixelated figure just pissed me off. oh well, here it is. until i figure out a way to operate my scanner properly at least.The hammers around his waist are uhh... hmm... y'know what? its better you just play the game.

Very little detail: the shield should be put a bit more vertical. It would look totally finished then.

Excellent work m8 - I find scanning in hire 600dpi+ in greyscale then selecting the black in PS and creating a new layer and filling the selection on a new layer works well - esp. for getting rid of any light grey finger smudges etc

Nice line work and detail. With the scanner, maybe try to either scan at a high dpi for lineart setting at say 600dpi and then lower in Photoshop to 300dpi. Or try the graytone setting at 300dpi and play with the contrast and highlight and midtones a bit to have only the lines show.
