Ever since I saw Octavia I fell in love with her design! and the songs about her are simply my favorite!
I had fun experimenting with this coloring since I'm not used to skipping the lineart step, haha xP
I kinda messed up on the lighting in her hair but I was too lazy to correct it, sorry!

She forgot about Vinyl Scratch, that's why there's Vinyl's side of the story in the song Like a Broken Record. In Like a broken record, Octavia leaves Vinyl, off to follow her dreams in Canterlot, like said in Octavia's Overture. Vinyl, left alone, becomes obsessed with doing her work and ends up become so obsessed with her music that she forgets about her life, and never leaves her music booth, playing 24/7, as she slowly loses her mind. One day Octavia calls her while Vinyl's still doing what she had been doing since Octavia left many years ago. Octavia begins to regret leaving Vinyl, and realizes that Canterlot really isn't what she hoped it would be like.
So I'm guessing that in the end, Octavia moves back in with Vinyl and helps her out of her obsession and gives her life back to her. I don't really know, the song never really explained what happened after Octavia told Vinyl over the phone that she was sorry for leaving her.
