Well his rumors turned out to be true since "Bloody Gir" made cameo "appearances" in the series.

And it was because the show was more popular to teens and adults not to nine-twelve year olds as planned. The Bloody Gir wasn't noticed until after Jhonh left Nick and it was an Easter Egg for the DVD. Finally, Jhonh made Bloody Gir to appear in the episode "Gir Goes Crazy And Stuff" but Nick didn't approve of a character to appear covered ib blood.
