Yay for study-break art!I've been researching actresses from the 20s & 30s for a final paper and I came upon this fantastic site: [link] which has scores of pictures of Hollywood stars from the 20s to the 50s! And browsing through them I got really inspired, so this is the first in a series of shots I hope to do in between finals work.
First up, in a pose inspired by Audrey Hepburn (found here [link] ), is Sally Acorn, in her Grind incarnation, but thrust about 5 or so years into the future, when she's out of college and working (I'm thinking as a lawyer or paralegal).
I really like how this turned out. The shirt was fun to do and I love the 'working girl' bun she's decided to sport!

she looks a little sexy in that warm, loving kind of way. She looks so happy to, like everything in her life is track and she's right where she wants to be
the working girl bun is a very nice touch too, gives the feeling you're seeing a side of sally she normally doesn't show
