hey y'all!

it's um..been a while?

I heard from someone that there was an Invader Zim movie coming out on Netflix...so I took a minute to decide whether or not to watch it...and ended up doing it.

It awakened something within me that hasn't seen the light of day in years.

I don't think I've dabbled in drawing Zim since early high school, back when I thought I was going into animation as a career. I'm now a junior in college studying aerospace engineering and I've since worked for the largest aerospace company in the world. Things are crazy, huh?

After watching the movie, I was--needless to say--shook. I thought it would be fun to try to quickly draw the characters from memory. When I started, I was kind of terrified to realize that I was drawing them from muscle memory. Allow me to reiterate -- it's been YEARS. Crazy.

Anyway, I hope that everyone is doing well and that the Invader Zim community, if it still exists, is thriving.
