Edit!: Due to overwhelming negativity about both the first movie and now Sea of Monsters, I am disabling commentary. This piece was not meant as an insult to the Percy Jackson movie, it was only ever intended as good-natured ribbing at the (admittedly huge) discrepancies between book and movie. Apologies to those who wanted to share their thoughts! I am just very, very tired of seeing "this movie sucked" over and over in my inbox, regardless of how it may or may not be true. Personally, I enjoyed the first movie, and it inspired me to read the book series. The book was really different, but I feel it upheld the spirit of the book, even if it was not true to the plot. ERHMAGERD I hated the movie because WHERE WAS CLARICE... and the bathroom... and the waterpark... and Ares.. AND WHY WERE THEY NOT 11... and why did Percy have a phone... what bothered me most though was that Percy was not on Annabeth's team in CTF... That is pretty much the best part of the book in my opinion...

If you have not read the book and saw this comic, so hope is not lost yet. only the names were the same as in the book. I personally hated the movie. It has good effects but I don't know what the scriptwriter was thinking...

I always try to read a book that is turning into a movie before said movie comes out. I was too poor at this point so I finally just read the first book. XD Starting the second and THEY are beautiful. I SPIT ON THE MOVIE NOW! *Peea-tu* <-- sound of spitting. So this is amazing. I like the actors who did Grover and Percy however. Just wish the movie tried to follow the book even a little bit.

Everything Ares kinda was thrown out the window. CLARISSE was thrown out the window. So they created a Annabeth/Clarisse highbred.

Describes the movie perfectly. It was a completely inaccurate movie, though. Percy's age was wrong, Annabeth had brown hair, and the whole quest had almost nothing to do with the book. Hope The Sea of Monsters is better

I'm pretty sure it did, although I might be mistaken. I just hate all the changes they made, like why would persephone use those pearls? was medusa one of the lovers that got one? if so . . . haaaaaaaaaawt!!!
