Why, it be the sexy Setikins.
This picture has taken FOREVER. Srrsly. I wanted to kill it.
So I had the background sorted, but then I painted some fetlocks on Seti and decided I wanted them to show, so I wasted about a week trying to look for a new background before I decided I really liked the one I had and I was like, oh just screw the bloody fetlocks. Then I took ages over finding a sky/mountains for the background, then I fiddled loads with the colouring, and then for the life of me I just couldn't get the legs to blend in to the wheat. They still look pretty crap now... oh well.
So then I had to mess with the text, which I'm still not happy with. Need to work on text placement...
I'm pretty happy with the horseh though! And I think overall it didn't turn out too badly..

do you smudge your mane's when you do the base?, & how do you make the details of the mane show out like that?,

lul, it took forever. xD
nah, i don't smudge - just use a hard brush to sketch out the rough shape, then fill it out with a larger, fuzzier brush a slightly darker colour.
wha, the ends? just a hard, 2 px/1px brush, over and over and over again. xD
i'm still learning meself, so yeh. pro'lly not the best method...
have yew checked out arrsistable's brushes? they're ace.
