It has been awhile since I have drawn anything and I think you tell by the lack of skill. I had a crack at drawing my own fursona but as you can see i'm not that unique…but I did promise to draw Foshu’s fursona, which I think came out a lot better then my own. Man I never know how hard it would be get back into art.I know that I promised a lot things to people and I attend to keep them so please don’t think that I abandoned you all.

I did this picture when I was away from DA for a long time and I kind felt crappy leaving my good friends for so long...especially Foshu.

I know that I shouldn’t bad mouth my own work but I had not drawn for a while back then. As you can see my own fursona has gone through a lot of changes but I do try my best all the time.
I learn by experimenting with different colours and styles. You also got to know your way around Photoshop CS…but really it all comes down to practise.

What a beautiful scene. The mood you capture in there is amazing, finely tuned with great colours. You can almost feel the sunset.
The background, while being simple, fits and is well done. The flow of colours is awesome.
Completed by neat characters with excellent expressions.

I gotta say, you've a knack for portraying beautiful scenery and moods. But, you really shine at combining the characters into it. It looks like a singular piece of artwork, and not one over the other. As for foxee here... I think you've drawn her pretty attractive looking... but I also like the look of your dude too. It's a very innocent looking image, and serene, I like that a lot. You are gifted with your colors.

I think you look hot sun and I'm sure the more you'll give it thought, the more original (and hot) your fursona will become, because you're so imaginative.

OH that is good I really like the mix of colors in the BG. Your fursona is not that bad hun...don't be so harsh on yourself. Nothing wrong with being plain *points to herself*

Foshu means a lot to me and I know she likes to encourage others to practice and such. She likes to bring out the best in those with talent.
Although she will never believe I have none.
Keep up the good work I love your mixing of the colors so naturally realistic. And you also gave me some inspiration for a cliff picture I have to work on. *smiles*
I have lurked around your art and it is really nice...it doesn't have to be perfectly lined and all to make a nice piece. Some people just don't understand what art is sometimes. It is a mix of emotion passion and technique. All of which you have...so keep at it!

I know what you mean the first time I met Foshu here on DA she was really encouraging and I think we made a promise to keep on practicing no matter what.
We all have talent we just need practise …and some need more.
If I have inspired one person its more then enough for me and trust me I will be putting it all in now with my art. Thank you for the kind and encouraging words. if I wasn’t so cold I would give you a huge. *ear falls off*

My art is not that great but it is fun for me to do..and relaxing and such.
Like today I sketched a ocean scene while acting like Bob Ross...it was a crappy pic but the guy wanted to keep it for memories...I so owe him a beach in digital *smiles*
And don't worry about talking my ear off...I don't have many to listen to me about my art...so it is good to find another talker. Perhaps you can leave a few comments on my stuff..would be nice to hear from someone who does good work from time to time on mine. BTW I have been lurking around you art for a while now...

I know I'm usually just nice, but I have some critique here.
The drawing itself you see is good! The interaction between the characters is nice and I feel like I'm watching a calm scene with two friends during sunset and I really enjoy that!
The coloring however seems.. half-assed :s
I don't mean to be rude at all! But I feel and I know, that you can do so much better!
So overall. Drawing itself = good! Composition = good!
Coloring = not so very good..
But.. I'm glad your back, I missed yer art!

Eeew you got me real good there and your right I didn’t put much thought in to the colours but my brains has been gone for so long you kind of lose the concept a little with complementary colours. It sucks starting over again.

I like to keep the art trades to the end of the year where I got more leave and holidays to work on them… But I do this one project a year where I draw people’s fursona for fun of it. Its called the DA Project and when you see it just ask if you be part of it. Thank you for the comment. :3
