Description The above is a map of the world as of December, 31st, 2023 showing the various political systems.

NOTES:
1. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are cases of states that had dictators and anocratic systems that have had reformist leaders come to power who are actively trying to reform the systems to be more democratic with some successes.

2. Anocracy is a term that refers to a system in which there are elections, and the parties might change, but their is an elite that controls everything; another term for this is Hybrid Regime.

3. Mauritius is a case where while there is no single ruling party, it has been continuously governed by a coalition in which the two biggest parties have always been part of it with smaller parties joining and leaving over time.

4 . Guatemala is a case where the sole reason it's not shown as an anocracy is because a reformist, pro-democracy President has come to power despite the best efforts of the anocratic forces.

5 .Mexico is on the verge of being shown worse, I'm basically just seeing how things play out over the next electoral cycle.

6. Ecuador is only showed as partially flawed rather than very flawed due to the fact that there have been improvements over the last few years.

7. Cuba is a unique case in which it's a One-Party State, however at the same time members of it's legislature are not allowed to belong to parties at
all; overall though it is still an authoritarian one-party state.

8. Tonga is a situation where it has in the past been a non-partisan democracy, but is evolving to having political parties, leading to parliament being
basically half non-partisan and half partisan most of the time.

9. Mongolia alternates between periods as a Two-Party system and other periods as a Two-Point-Five-Party system.

10. There are, amusingly, only three polities with a Three-Party system presently, all in Africa, however historically there have been other places that had the system, Pre-Chavez Venezuela being perhaps the most notable example.
