I remember saying that "If it reaches the point where they end up relying on other people's art styles CONSTANTLY, that's where it becomes a problem." in the description. Also, usually most people only take parts of a style instead of the entire style

heres what i think.
you can draw in someone's art style as an homage to them. i draw in hirohiko araki's art style all the time because i appreciate him as an artist. however, i also adopt my own artstyles and i don't have to rely on others all the time. simply doing your art in one's artstyle as an homage is fine, but when you start stealing it and only doing your art in said style, then there's no room for improvement.
